The AW23 collection is inspired by architects Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s works. They were known for wrapping imposing monuments in fabric so only the architectural form remained. They recycled most of their fabric, the principal medium of their installations, which resonates with BLANCHE’s values

LIFEFORMS celebrates the meeting of form and person. Once covered, even the most familiar objects become something else. Architectural construction inspired wrapping emphasize the form, while functional details, and volume embrace movement. The collection’s spirit is sophisticated, with textures that maintain their voluminous shape and proportion even in motion.

This collection gives new life to what would have become waste, using fabrics made from recycled plastic bottles, oyster shells and leftover fabrics, along with virgin cotton from rainfed farms.
